By-Mail Voting… A good or a terribly bad idea? – Just two days before the most relevant political day of recent times, Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar took on cable news networks Sunday morning to ask voters to avoid sending their ballots through mail.
The move comes after recent court rulings determined that any ballots received after Election Day will be disregarded for effective vote counting, thus overriding Minnesota State Department’s previous decision to allow for an extension to the ballot reception deadline.
During the last few months, the Democrat party leadership had shown support for by-mail voting as a valid means to exercise the citizen’s voting rights, alleging that in-person voting could result in new massive COVID-19 infections, however, it is possible that Trump’s recent gains in the political polls in key-voting states could be pushing the Democrats to advocate for more direct approach to the voting process.
For the moment, the trends in online betting remain strongly inclined to a Biden-Harris victory, with 2-1 odds offered for the Democrats by most sportsbooks across the globe. Take a look below at the latest 2020 Election Odds provided by classic action brand JAZZSports.ag:

Don’t Vote by Mail, Not Anymore!
The newly-issued ruling by the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals ordering a “segregation” of ballots received after Election Day has created a new strategic problem for Minnesota Democrats. Klobuchar’s party had previously bet on the mail-in voting as a viable strategy to defeat incumbent POTUS Donald J. Trump in this upcoming election, stemming from their belief that many Biden supporters might choose to mail in their ballots instead of doing it in-person due to health concerns,
In polling terms, Republican voters have shown themselves to be more willing to attend the voting stations regardless of the implications of the growing Covid-19 pandemic. According to political pundits, this could result in an increased turnout of conservative voters at the polls, which would in turn lead to a second run for Trump at the White House.
“We really are focused right now on making sure people can vote and we’re just telling them, don’t vote by mail anymore,” Klobuchar told American news media on Sunday morning. “Take your ballot to a dropoff box, we’ve got plenty of them in Minnesota.”
